Exciting News for Stricklandgate House!

We’ve officially submitted our planning application (2025/2419/FPA) for a major new phase of the Stricklandgate House 4 Sustainable Heritage project.

Designed by award-winning Emil Eve Architects, the plans are part of our Stricklandgate House 4 Sustainable Heritage project, supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund. This exciting step will safeguard our 18th-century listed building while transforming the 1960s extension into modern, welcoming, and adaptable spaces for charities, voluntary organisations, and the wider community.

After extensive consultation with tenants, volunteers, and stakeholders, this submission marks a key milestone in securing the building’s future and enhancing its role at the heart of Kendal.
