Project Coordinator – Stricklandgate House 4 Sustainable Heritage

Location: Kendal, Cumbria, with the possibility of some flexible working
Salary: £36,772 per annum
Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week
Contract: 36-month fixed term

About the role

Stricklandgate House Trust is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to lead and manage our National Lottery Heritage Fund project: Stricklandgate House 4 Sustainable Heritage: Where Heritage Meets the Day-to-Day (SGH4SH).

A £4.63m delivery grant from The National Lottery Heritage Fund will support our £5.52m project to redevelop and enhance Stricklandgate House, creating a heritage and community hub while strengthening our core work supporting the Third Sector.

The Project Coordinator will help us deliver ambitious plans for a strengthened Third Sector hub, a new Community Hub and event space with Community Lounge, heritage interpretation throughout the building, and an exciting programme of heritage and community engagement in the centre of Kendal.

The role will coordinate the SGH4SH Delivery Phase through pre-construction, construction and the establishment of Trust operations within the refurbished premises.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with substantial experience in project management, heritage, community engagement and the Third Sector.
