Tenant Organisations
Many voluntary organisations have a residence within Stricklandgate House. If you are having difficulty getting in touch with any of the organisations listed below, please do not hesitate to contact the Stricklandgate House reception for details of that particular organisation's opening hours.
South Lakes Society for the Blind
SLSB provides information, advice and support to people with sight problems. There is a large display of aids and equipment in our Sight Advice Centre and an outreach service for people who are unable to visit the centre. There is a regular newsletter and SLSB provide a range of activities - swimming, keep fit and bowling, as well as monthly support groups across the area.
