The centre for voluntary organisations in South Lakeland
Cumbria Societies for the Blind is a consortium of the 5 local blind societies in the County.
It does not directly provide services - Sight Advice South Lakes and the other four societies around the county offer advice, information and social support to people with a range of visual impairments.
Working together as a consortium, the societies are able to share skills, develop best practice and jointly offer some services (such as training to other agencies). A development officer is employed three days a week.
Opening hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 4.30pm
